Ovarian Cancer
Ovarian cancer accounts for nearly 3% of all cancers among women and ranks second among the gynecological cancers, following cancer of the uterus. The American Cancer Society estimates that there will be 22,000 new cases of ovarian cancer in the United States every year, and an estimated 15,000 deaths. Ovarian cancer causes more deaths than any other cancer of the female reproductive system.
